The Historic Touring Car Association (HTCA) is running a Fun Day at Calder.

"This is your chance to sort your competition car or give your fast road car some exercise. If you can't enter personally please tell your friends or other clubs with appropriate sedan or sports cars. There will be separate sessions for drivers and drivers with passengers, running throughout the day. If you do not have a current Level 2 CAMS licence you can purchase a AASA licence on the day for $50.

If my turbo gets back in time and I can re-install it without too many dramas, I'm planning to be there. Some good mates of mine are members of the HTCA so I'd like to be able to support them.

Besides.... Calder is the perfect place to test out my brakes and work out how deep I can go before locking up. The front strip has that run-off after the right-hander so if I miss the turn, the theory is to open up the wheel and use the run-off.
