ID'ing rear diff and transfer case

Hi people

I was given a rear diff and transfer case as part of a package I bought (came with engine i wanted).

I was toldthe whole lot came from an Evo 3.

I was hoping someone could shed some light on what they are actually from, wheather the diff is LSD or not, and how much roughly they sel for - yes I've googled / searched.

The rear diff has numbers HB664749 and 54015 on it (oh, it still has the shafts in, and it's alot easier for me to type than pull em out!! - I'm a bit of a lazy c*#t)

The transfer case has 5J18 and 2 607 on it.

Any help would be appreciated.

the numbers dont mean anything, they are just case numbers on the casing, they are all the same

only way to identify is by counting the teeth in the transfer case

evo1 & 2 transfer have 24/22
evo3 have 29/27

as with the diff, they are 3.909, remove the the shafts and if you can see straight through it and theres no rod in the middle, then its lsd
also measure the spline on the shafts, if 1 is longer then the other than its viscous lsd, if they are same size then its mech lsd

whatsthe code on the gearbox that came with the package?

The transfer is off a awd cordia that there is none of in Australia. Value- scrap or $10,
Rear diff is a open centre 6:1 ratio vr4. It has a different housing and nothing swaps over. $10 or scrap also.

Sometimes people have a little more knowledge with the numbers etc that they know shit like that straight up.

just thought the numbers might mean something to someone.
