Thought I'd put a post up and see if someone has any ideas or had the same problem.
Well I've got a TME with a 7 motor running the 6 loom still.
I've changed my inlet manifold, throttle body, fuel rail and fuel reg to all after market.
My new throtle body is a wank looking one that doesn't run the coolant through it and is suited for a 7-9 Evo.
Have been having issues with the idle control wiring due to having to run a 7 idle control but still having the 6 loom in the car I've had to fit a new 7 plug to loom.
Have finally sorted out the wires, i then had my tps having a voltage of 3.5
sorted that out today and got it down to .7v
Now the car changes idle
- sometimes runs ok at about 750rpm just needs the idle to be bumped up.
- now most the times it starts hunting between 750-1500 and keeps on going.
Bare in mind I have installed 272 cams and a power fc but not tuned yet
Also I have set fuel pressure to 40psi
Have I got an issue with a throttle body tps or is it in the tune fuel ratio???
