sup ladies n gents!!
joined the forums a while back but decided to get in on the action!!
i currently own a nissan pulsar jap spec powered by the ALMIGHTY GTiR SR20DET quad throttle 2.0....i love the evolutions, it will always be high in my books...my first love..black evo v..the one in LEGEND OF SPEED!!!
hope to be cruising with u guys shortly...
the other reason i joined up is cos of my GF bro..he owns a EVO III powered gsr...all i have to say is.....its QUICK!! :smt116
so am i welcome?

what mods have you done to your car??!
 
lol..my car hasnt got major mods....just the usual, exhaust 3 inch front-2 1/4 cat back, pod, FMIC ( gone bak to top mount), boost contoller with hi/low switch.. got some tasty mods sitting at home, just havnt got round to putting them on. never dynod or tracked...might come down to heathcote for a bit of fun ;) whats done to ur galant 4g63t??

and no its not top and front mounted, took a snap shot b4 i ripped off the front mount.

A few, just the usuals- fuel pump, larger injectors, EVO 3 turbo, 272 cams, 3" zorst, intake, chipped ECU, FMIC and plumbing, 5-puk clutch

traction is the issue though! should hit the dyno soon!


did the cops give you grief about the FMIC? surely going back to the inter-warmer is a step backwards??
 
one of the reasons y i went bak to top mount is that theres not much of a differencein power gain ...its pretty much a standard car.. kicks in hard about 4 instrad of 5 rpm.. once i put on the larger turbo n computer.. i might just go back to a fmic (most likely). plus i have the gtir bonnet.. might as well use that massive vent for sumfin :) and yes i do bevieve if you have a top mount and propper rubber surrounding you could find that its a better option(less lagg) for average powered cars.
 
it does decrease the lagg, i believe..
by far the FMIC is a better option for cold air, and an increase of power tho. one of the reasons y i took it off is thats its a MASSIVE cooler in width n length, pushes my front bar out and looks like shit!! looking for swaps anyone?...LOL

lol...man i would love to sell my "FWD" N14!! but on apprentice wages, its impossible..
mayb one day when im a tradie:) nice pics, mayb the driver of the gtir was shit lol... or mayb u have a madd launch :) still love my nissan tho
