Injector query!

Hey guys, Purchasing some 450cc injectors soon, And I'm wondering if they will go straight in without any ECU modifications?

why are you bothering with this? so you can make less power, use more fuel and have a slower car?

No, it's so when i run more than 15psi my engine doesn't blow up?

maybe you should get it tuned, or run lower compression

itll run but itll run like a slug... wouldnt even bother with it unless your getting a chip in your ecu.

iv got 450cc injectorsin my coupe running the 4G93t but iv also got a microtech running it im sure the ex owner of ur coupe might be able to help you out with a microtech :wink:

I ran VR4 450cc injectors in My GSR fine. I wouldnt advise running more than 15psi without it being tuned though. You should upgrade the fuel pump aswell otherwise theres the chance the stock pump might not be able to keep up and, well... BANG :shock:

VR-4 injectors, good clutch, VR-4 cooler and a Turbosmart bleedvalve to 14psi got me a 13.49 1/4mile. Everything else was stock.

The whole fuel system is upgraded, apart from injectors.

and FRANK-E as for the microleb I've discussed it with chris for ages

The car needs other things first, like a new clutch

Oh well, i will get the injectors and wait untill the microtech/other ecu goes in

I have some vr4 injectors that will be going into my gsr also. Though when i do this the rest of the fuel system is getting upgraded along with a bigger turbo and a chipped ecu. I think it's worthless unless you do something with the fuel maps. I'm no expert though, just hoping to learn

With this combo u wont have any problems overfueling. Plus it has boost cut etc removed and custom fuel/timing maps.
