Inlet manifold

4GTuner

Help Support 4GTuner:

yes they are very handy! helps the air get from the TB to the head. Highly recommend one!

jks :D if you are talkin bout aftermarket intake manifolds then no, but i believe the factory ones are pretty good, and suit the flow characteristics of the head pretty well.

hahahahahahahahaha smart arse. love it.

yeah, as you probly know, you gotta look at the full setup, as the Dr sais "holistically".. intake(includes head/ports)/turbo and cam.

i posted a link to some good articles that cover this. http://4gtuner.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=1841

A good plenum is going to set you back at least 1.5 gorillas and you'll need a throttle body to suit too.

and like the other guys said you would require the head done too so you get the advantages of the plenum.

I would invest the 1500 + in other mods that would reap more benefits. ie : forged internals, matched turbo for your application, aftermarket ECU which you would need if you replaced the plenum. and so on...

I know I have played this game before.

save up and do the lot at once! ... once!

you would be better spending the $$$ on aftermarket ECU then internals

If by chance you have done all the above and the plenum is the last thing to go, ring APC in underwood they have a really flash one on display, machined billet looks BLING and it looks fast too!
