Interchangable parts

Hey fellas, wonderin if anyone can tell me if the idle stepper off a certain magna will suit a vr4 TB? mine's rooted and i need a new one.

Anybody know if the speed sensor for the vr4 abs is the same as the magna system too?

No magna ISC will fit a vr4 at all. And ISC's are about 320 dollars genuine through trav or 120 for an aftermarket one through meek.

Speed sensors are also different, speed sensors can be gotten from the wrecker that MISGSR put a shameless plug on http://www.sportsclassic.com.au/

Actually. The speed sensors on the FRONT are the same as a KR Verada.

Rears are different. Which is broken?

Ok cool. What brand/who manafacture the aftermarket ISC? are they good quality or is it worth buying a genuine one? also, are the thorttle bodys on the N/A 4g63 motors the same?

In regards to the ABS, how can you actually tell what part is faulty? the abs light comes on. so im not 100 % certain on the problem

You'll need to diagnose the ABS ECU to pinpoint it. It could be anything from low voltage to the ecu, to a broken wire, bad sensor, bad speed ring, etc etc. It's a bastard of a job I'm sorry.

ISC's from meek seem to work fine. I bought a genuine one because I'm a bit crazy like that.

Not sure on the TB's but I think the vac lines are different.

Might be off topic, but would it be an idea to have a sticky, where we list what parts are interchangeable across the 4G lineup?

i.e. Verada calipers are the same as Evo III ones, 055 Evo AFMs are the same as the one out of a Magna, etc, etc?

I know I for one hae spent a lot of time searching the forum for posts relating to cross platform parts, as wreckers automatically jack up the price by about $400 as soon as you say you're after an Evo or VR4 part...?
