Another annoying question...
What is the longest widest deepest ic you can fit in a standard jspec setup?
What size is Dre running? Someone said Evo VI? What are the dimensions of that??

Cheers

unless your aiming for unlimited and unknown power output thats a pretty vague question..........

a better way to go about this would be to figure out your aim, power wise, and even to decide what the car is going to be used for more. and then ask what would be the best cooler size for your purposes.

Unless you have a maaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaassive turbo, the longest deepest and widest cooler you could fit in there would be an expensive way to lose performance.

From what I gather, you are looking at upgrading to a BIG16G yes?

if that is the case, id be going for an EVO sized cooler, nothing bigger, as what power you will gain with larger cooling surface area you will lose in pressure drop and turbo lag.

thanks man :D
i had it all wrong :S was just reading are intercooler info.
Thanks for the heads up.

Cheers

im clearing a 700x280x75mm

im sure a 100mm will fit

we're limited to height really, 300mm will stick out from the bumper

a nice clean fit would be around 200mm height

as for length, we've got quite a bit of room..

We do, but the longer the cooler determines which way your cooler plumbing is routed, especially the cooler outlet.

If your going for a big16g, an evo 1-3 cooler should be fine, the EVO 4-6 coolers are quite tall, and will be a little trickier to fit.

dre - what size are the inlet and outlets on the Evo coolers? do you know?
did you have to modify yours?

I realise i should expect some difference in power when ambient temp is 35c to when it gets later and it goes down to like 23c. But i have a huge difference?? I am worried about losing to commodores its that bad!!!

What could be the cause? Or is this normal?
