Hi Guys,

Is it just me or are a lot of evo 9 owners fck wits... not a personalattack at any one but just a general vibe i get, many of them our a ex subi owners but thats no excuse is it... :lol: they are all aragoant and thinkthey drive million dollar cars .

I was tossing up between and evo 9 or a chrysler 300c , but now have decided to go for the Hemi, cause i didn't want to be labeled as a fckwit.

wats other peoples thoughts or may be ive just meet the wrong people.

I got banned from Evo-oz for asking for the dimensions of a e7-8-9 spoiler. Apparently I'm a fibreglasser who's going to copy them or something.

I'm not sure Turbo4 has any idea who I am.

The ban seems to have been rectified.

But in all honestly, Team4G is far more performance/engine/mod oriented. Evo-oz is a place for them all to hang out and puff up their chests. I'd prefer it stay that way. We are two different groups of people with two completely different purposes.

i tottaly agree wit ENTRAN... evo oz is full of wanks..... they have no knowledge of 4g63's . they think they the sht cause they drive later model evos
i have owned a later model evo , i was never a fckhead .... i dont know , i never go on AUsevo anymore for that reason... they all compensate for there small dcks with there later model evos, i've owned both and i refer the 3 backwards shape simply cause the people who own them are more humble and better to get along with... AND KNOW WHAT THEY ARE TALKING ABOUT

I might get a 6.5 again cause they the sht , but never a 9 ... owners of 9s have put me off them completley.

as for 4g63 foroums TEAM4g is one of the best i must say.

OFFON - i agree with you that the 300c are a bit to much puff daddy like , but they look so tough.

for now thou evo 9 is out of the question , if i get one im never going on evoz.

SAMBO on auzevo had a post of mine removed when i wrote that evo 6.5 are at best worth $35000. dueto the cheap evo 9 with 5 year warrranty. he was trying to sell his on that site and said my post spoiled chances of him selling his car.

no one will pay $45000 for a 6.5. he jsut couldn't get his head around that

i love 300C's.. the fact that theres so many different routes to making it a pimp mobile has made me love them!.. sure theres heaps of them around but its just like every other model of cars you see.. eg. riced up lancers, civics etc.. list goes on..

also i don't think there are that many around melb..

To tell you the truth I've had a couple of issues with some of the guys on EVO OZ forums, one of them was mentioned by lorrie.

It DOES seem like the majority of them are ex-poobie owners, i.e total fuckwits, but then again I know a few later model evo owners and guys on that forum who aren't.

Its a shame that there are people out there who look down on the younger guys in the earlier model cars like they're nothing- when in fact there are people out there who have been into performance mitsi's for a long time, and have owned more than 7 of them and still drive the old ones!!


What I really want to do (and I hope some of you do too) Is turn up to the "EVO Nationals" being held by that club in August, and hand them their late model EVO asses on a platter.

Sadly I doubt my car will be finished by then. :cry:

They scream and moan about someone running a mid thirteen. Considering a vr4 with about 1000 dollars work will run 13's I don't see the point.

I hear you about some of the E9 guys being wankers, believe me I hear you but you see it all the time once cars become more mainstream and guys who don't really know a hell of alot start becoming experts and start sprouting baseless opinons on things. I guess the problem is stack of guys at the same level of knowledge hitting a good forum at the same time and frustrating everyone else a bit. On the other hand it's important that all of us with older cars don't let ourselves get little man syndrome and call them wankers because we're a bit jealous of there slow but shiny new evo's :wink:

I know where your coming from, but surely you can see why this thread has been started. I know a couple of guys in slow shiny new evo's who are on here and feel the same way URMAMA and others do about some of the guys on E'OZ.
