Is my diff stuffed?

Had the front up on stand today I noticed I could spin the wheels while in gear... This doesnt sound normal to me. Is my diff fried? Or is it normal and im a moron?

open or viscous front diff=normal

with 2 or more viscus diffs in there they just about all go forwards/backwards opposite all over the joint

i can never work it out, all i know is mine is tight and mechanical and LSD besides i tend to drive with all four on the ground and the car drives forward so thats good enf for me!
