yep, g4cp. slightly smaller on intake and exhaust ports compared to vr4 (but bigger that evo), and they have the block mounted roll stoppers and all. gumtree is your friend.
Hmm. The smdeal is to use the actual case ball internals will be new to prevent this again. Hence I'll know the condition. Question is the bare block the same as a 4g63

sorry to hear about your block!
just a couple of things, you need to find out why it broke .. rod bolts breaking etc
I dought it very much "crankwalk" had any thing to do with this 1 you have a 6 bolt 2 for it to break a block it would of needed about 200 thou of play.
and I also dought the too problems were related ie: lacking of boost and airconditioning the block
Tim revs his 2ltr to 7500 (stock bottom end) and is making a cool 570 hp at 4 wheels and it seems to still be in one piece
I think there might of been an issue with it being built on a friday afternoon and hung chow forgot to torque that last rod bolt up, I guess he was excited meeting suzie wong for the first time at the new sushi/ karoke bar, you know how your mind can wonder and you forget things when there is a good chance of getting lucky, all that sake, raw fish and elton john just gets those asian women all excited.
Little did he know she used to be a man, but still hasn't raised the money for the operation, the drugs work fine but you know there is always that little reminder down there, and you know you will never really be a woman until it is truly gone. Personally after drinking all that sake I think he still did her/him, I know he said he didn't but he spent all his money on tuna and blow fish and would of be dissapointed when he went for the grope,- dam all that sake even I would of done suzie, I guess after the operation they could hook up and she could finally meet his family. No they will never have children but fuck it the government only allows you to have one anyway, but everyone needs somebody! so I guess yes it was i little absent minded on Hungs part that he forgot to torque up those fucking rod bolts but lets face , the motor will probably end up in shit hole australia and Hung did get laid even if it was with a man, and what wouldn't you do for a fellow brother in the quest for more pootang.
just don't mention the sushi bar to his dad next time your having dinner at the chows place his heart isn't that strong anymore after the highway collaps but thats another story...

are you sure it was 6 bolt? very odd for thrust bearing failure"crankwalk" but they can do it!
it's to do with oil supply to the thrust washer and clutch weight/travel
once the rod hits the block there will be bits of rod everywhere and yes it would look as if the rod snapped.
an engineer would be able to tell you.
I'm a little far away to check for you.

and looking at that timing belt you head/valves are gona need mechining/ replacing.
