I have a Hypertune Intake Manifold with a Hypertune 77mm Throttle Body. There is no ISC so my car doesnt idle at all when cold. I need to hold the revs til the car is warm enough to hold idle itself.
Has anyone had this issue before and made a custom adaptor to fit onto an aftermarket throttle body? Anyway to connect the ISC somewhere else ?
Thanks

grab an s70 body those seem to be the most popular on here

the s70 allows you to bolt on the stock section that the isc bolts to and use that. yours might have a similar design

Would be good if you use an aftermarket ECU. For instance I made a block off plate for the ISC on my S90 because Im using a Haltech ECU with Haltech idle control - easy setup that only requires a vacuum hose in the intercooler piping just before the throttle body, and another hose from the intake manifold. Both hoses go to the idle control unit. Then I made an adapter harness from the stock ISC plug to fit the Haltech idle control unit plug. It was piss easy and less hassle and headaches than an ISC anyday.

As evo00x says. You need to add additional air at idle when cold so it will idle.
Factory mitsi is controlled mechanically by the block of snot under the throttle body with the water going into it.
You need this, or some other way to add additional air (such as the system used by evooox) when cold starting, to simulate/stimulate a faster idle
I'm sure drivebywire eliminates all these problems but I don't think many aftermarket ecu support this.

Brainfreeze... Block of snot is called a fast idle air valve or FAIV.
Personally I think if you can use it, do it. By deleting it, you will cause more issues than you will solve.

Thanks for the reply guys... I'm running a power fc and its not like the haltech. You can not use a different ISC. I rang up hypertune and they are going to send me an adaptor which is run on the Evo 4-9. The intake manifold that hypertune have for the Evo 4-9 comes with the adaptor but mine didnt.. Hopefully it will work on mine. Will I be able to use the Haltech Idle Speed Control and housing which is for sale on their website? It has an output for 2 hoses which i think is for one before the throttlebody on the IC piping and the other on the manifold.
