j-spec vr4 off vicrally egroup

Hi,

I am selling my road car, a 1989 Jap-spec Mitsubishi Galant VR4. Selling
to free up cash for rallying. Fairly standard, with a 3" turbo-back
exhaust and 4" tip, bigger injectors and is running approx 11psi boost.
(About 0.8 bar). Has aftermarket KYB suspension in it, (quite stiff but
handles well). Standard height and wheels, (15"). October '06 reg. I
really need to have it gone asap, so looking for only $8400 with RWC or
$7800 without. Good, quick car which won't get you forever pulled up for
being too loud/low etc.

I've taken a heap of pics yesterday which I'm happy to email on if
someone's interested. Car is located in Ivanhoe.

Well, I'm the seller, and I've been f..ked around by someone who wanted to buy it almost immediately. He put down a deposit basically straight away and has been waiting on finance ever since. In that time I've had about 4 other people wanting to buy it, but I told them it was sold. Finally lets me know today he couldn't buy it coz he couldn't get a loan. This is AFTER I've spent $760 getting a RWC (needed tyres, rear discs and a couple of little things). I'm thinking of just keeping it now, unless someone else wants to buy it... I've got an ad in the spare parts section coz if I keep it I want softer suspension. (Stiff suspension is enough in the rally car for me thanks!) Until now I've been working in the CBD, so have barely driven it. Now I'll be working 40k's away, so be in it every day.
If anyone's keen, it's here with a RWC issued a week ago and can basically go straight away. Otherwise I'll just keep it, coz I hate timewasters. And re: the price, I figured that's what it would be worth to get it sold. I know ppl put $10k on them, but I didn't think they were still pulling that money!??
