Jays racing alternator relocation.

Hey all,

Anyone on here running the ARK-1 from Jay's racing on a Gvr4?

I have installed the kit, however the two piece drive shaft carrier bearing can no longer be mounted since the passenger side hole is occupied by the alternator bracket.

This is not an issue with the evo's as far as I'm aware, since the carrier bracket mounts differently on the block.

You just bolt through the brCket and carrier bearing. The bracket acts like a spacer.
Unless the alternator bracket is mounted on the wrong holes?

Thanks Mate, your reply helped a lot.

This is to fit a vr4 engine running a cordia gearbox, The issue is the diff in the cordia box sits closer to the block than with a gvr4 box. Seems I will need to remove heaps of material off the hanger.

Profiled the Gvr4 intermediate shaft hanger to fit the cordia today. Easy work using the mill. No bashing of the sump thus far, we will have to see about the tri joint though.
