Over here in Perth you can get KYB stuff from WA Suspensions and pretty much any suspension place. Repco also supply KYB struts if you request suspension components from them. By that I mean they supply KYB before the likes of Monroe unless you otherwise state.

They KYB struts are identical to the OEM Mitsubishi Items, as KYB are the suspension manufacturer for Mitsubishi.

So I would suggest giving Repco a call, or you local suspension supplier and asking them if they can get them for you.

I am just looking at the KYB Australia website and it appears they don't make the AXG shocks for the CC GSR, only the Excel-G....

thats GHEY......... ! i have koni reds now should i just get some koni yellows?

You can always just get the Koni shocks re-valved by any competent suspension place. My mate had his done for around $40 - $50 each on his EVO I, thats new valves, seals and oil..pretty good value if you ask me.

It should be able to be done in a day also so your car wont be off the road all that long.

Save some more cash by pulling the struts out yourself and taking them in to get serviced.

Just some thoughts..

i actually looked into that today and autobarn can get them. one of my front tein coilover is not very good and thinking of buying spare struts and sending the coilovers away to get them reconditioned, and throw in the KYB for the time being so i can drive around.

but i cant justify spending that much money on the KYB shocks, new springs and need to get strut tops too. it'll prob end up costing me $500 just for the 2 front strut setup. and this will end up costing more than the rebuild will cost.

prob will have to just go without the car for a while, till my coilovers get fixed
