Lancer intake pipe

Has anyone here tried using other mitsi's intakes on their GSR/EVO keeping the battery in the stock position?

I believe this intake is off some sort of magna?

haha, hey thats my engine bay (well was until i sold the car). ended up using an 8MR BOV though

as for the intake pipe, was from a magna.. forget which year model though, was put in almost 4 years ago now.. meek would probably remember if you wanted to give him a buzz

that pipe just had like an L shape hose which connected it to the TD05

also was using the 055 AFM, stock airbox with k&n panel filter

liked to keep things as stock-looking and neat as possible

Hey, yeah thanks for the pic. I want something to replace the standard pipe with, to keep it neat and simple, much like your old setup....

Perhaps i'll send Meek an email with the pic, and he can tell me what pipe it is- or maybe Liberoz can elaborate on the subject for the benefit of all! :lol:

That intake pipe was what Meek made for mainly VR4 owners send him an email regarding it I dont think he has any of them instock, due to them being made a long time ago.

Chris had one on his VR4 which is in storage atm so you might twist his arm and get that one off him.

The rubber elbow off the maf is off a magna

$270 is way out of my budget- I could relocate the battery and get a Dejon Tool intake pipe for that kind of coin..... :huh:

I'm going to flick off an email to meek and see what they say

omad runs the magna setup. looks stock as a rock. i had a picture some where.

i believe from memory, it is a combination from two magna's that use 055's, one part for the 055 and two longer/right angle rubbers.

descriptions suck i know.

box is from an efi tr/ts magna. Same one the 055 comes off.
