just replaced my wb sensor 2 weeks ago and now having problems, everything has been wired correctly and recently updated the firmware for the lc2 controller

i have a ecmlink log attached with the sensor running fine and then towards the end it starts playing up putting my fuel trims all over the place, could the sensor be bad after 2 weeks? sensor is in stock o2 location. any advice would be great

I have ECM link (Lite v3) as well, I can't help you with your log but the best place to go is the ECM Link forums here

http://www.ecmtuning.com/forums/

Once you register (I have assumed you haven't, apologies if you have!) you should be able to get some assistance with this sort of query.

Go here as well - "http://www.ecmtuning.com/", lots of useful stuff.

BTW they recommend the WB you are using so you should not have any trouble getting help.

Have a look here, talks about lc2 installation;

http://www.ecmtuning.com/wiki/lc2install

Of interest, from that page, re the sensor location, they say:

"Sensor location

We generally recommend installing the LC-2's wideband sensor in the front O2 location directly off the turbo. That is, of course, if you plan to run without a narrowband sensor installed in that location. We have been running our sensor in that location for years without issue. We do not believe there are any “heat” concerns what so ever."

That's what I will be doing when I install my WB, no idea if it is a good idea, but if those guys reckon it's OK there must be some merit in doing it that way...

Thanks dave for the help, thats the guide used when i installed my lc2 wideband but unfortunately i keep getting error 8 which means sensor is too hot(thats what it says on innovate website) lc2 now supports the lsu 4.9 sensor which is ment to be better and more heat resistance sensor, ill try the 4.9 sensor and see how it goes. If it still fails then id say its a bad controller
