]Holy crap!!

hottest wagons, ever.

what are they powered by? I've never seen them before

There are shite loads in NZ  :D

I know of only 2 in oz

They are powered by a 6A13 2.5V6 Twin turbo engine

Good news!!

About time the legnum was chosen to grace these shores!

No need to shop around for a tow car, i'm sold on these hot looking wagons!

saw shitloads when i was in europe aswell!

Yeah i saw heaps of them while in NZ last year, they are way cool! I prefer them to the evo wagons i have seen pics of.

Legnum

Hello,
I know of a few in NSW, there is also one for sale on the northern beaches. I test drove it only a week before I bought my Evo 6.5.

It was a real nice car to drive and had room for your mates too and a decent sub in the back.

If you are interested in one contact Envy Imports in Brookvale, Sydney he has one with 70,xxx and is asking about $26.

Jules

yes!!!! ive been asking various importers about why the legnum isnt on the sevs list but they always said there wasnt enough interest for someone to do the testing.

This could well be my next car!

My only concern is parts would be so hard to find and beacuase of this, insurance would be through the roof.

parts are piss easy to find, have you done a search for legnum on trademe lately?? 772 listings!!

While I was in NZ lately I went into my ex-local mitsi dealer, he said he was more than happy to send parts over to Aus- TAX FREE!!!

:D

The hardest thing to find for these cars would be someone to change a cambelt or anything to do with the timing side of the engine!!!

dre

ahh cool. Well body parts would be a bit of a bugger though, can you imagine postage charges on a bonnet, fenders and bumpers from NZ?

So who is the importer that did the SEVS application?

Kristian Appelt did the application.. I'm not sure what RAWS will be doing the first one (with the inspections and what not)..

Legnum

Hello,

When I got a quote for garage in Sydney it was $1,550.00 with Just cars, rating 1 over 30.

The ones I know for sale were personal imports. 2 x white ones, 1 x silver one. Plus the Silver sedan in Adelaide, they are the only ones I have seen in OZ.

Definatley worth a serious look if you like a fast wagon, Mitsubishi Australia will service them, the guys at North Shore Mits said they would get a manual in to do the servicing. MRT said they hadn't seen one but would love to have a go at it.

Jules

id seriously consider buying one, but the main downsides that i could find are in regards to servicing/maintainence and parts backup.

apparently changing a timing belt is shunt of a job.

and the autos suck :p

having said that, id still buy one.
