Lock Nuts

Hey guys,

I recently bought a old car for the mags and the owner has lost the lock nut tool somewhere. i got 2 off with a socket but the other 2 are on to tight and the socket has just rounded them off. Is there anything i can do ???

either do it yourself or call a thread repair guy, they will drill a hole in the middle of the lock nut and whack a easy out in then you have the easy out to grab onto.

Id try the good ol' nut split method with a chisel if you have enough outside diameter to work with. Also, if its a proper old school Magnesium wheel there's no chance in hell you'd risk putting heat to it!

Sacrifice some sockets for it mate.
Or go to a wheel place (or a few) until you find ones that fit and get them to remove the nuts for ya..
