hey guy i'm wondering if you know what may have cause my car to clunk. I was turning left up a street and i jumped on the throttle and when the boost kicked in i heard a loud clunk coming from the drivers side, it was only one loud clunk. any ideas?

Nah nah, I just think your learning more about your car each day, your just curious :)

I do it all the time too :p
Everything must be perfect.

i was kinda hoping it might be the lsd.

Did you actually check behind you after you heard this 'clunk'....because it probably was your neighbours cat!?

i'm actually experiencing the same thing. I replaced the center carrier bearing and it wasnt that. I think its the rear end links bushing for the front sway bar as they are completely worn down. Try checking the tie rods, sway bar links, lower ball joints , suspension etc. mines actually a bit more prominent in that when I brake agressively, hit a bump or launch it clunks from the passenger side

it only happened once, the only time i hopped on the throttle to accelerate out of an intersection and hit full boost (19 psi) i don't think it was the LSD, i've checked my front driver side driveshaft and it has about an inch of play when i tug on it from underneath, i believe the clunk was the intial start of the failure of the CV joint, now my car shakes above 100 km/h, and its intermittent to the degree of shaking, sometimes really bad, sometimes not too noticable.... freakin wierd.

God created car stereo's for a reason ;)
If you don't have one installed you should and throw in some of your favorite CD's... that would save you tons of heart & head ache's
