Gday just wondering if anyone has changed a ball joint/s on the gsr lower control arms. Are they a press fit? as the repco bloke said they are a clip insert type but after viewing they look press fit. Are there replacements ones or do we just replace the arm

if they are replaceable how hard/easy are they to replace?

I have a Gsr arm here, that is accident damaged. The ball joint is loose in the arm. I would suggest they are press fit.
But others here have said that they are not available separately, and I recently read that someone had their arm machined to accept ball joints (maybe some commonly available ones)

if i have press fit ones recon the circlip ones will still fit? maybe i can lock it with a few neat little metal fabrication techniques lol

okay i got a hold of meek and they got none .. boo. Got a mate at AutoOne recons he can get me one for $22. He asked me though is my gsr japspec or ausspec. Since apparently there is a difference. Does anyone know what that is? and is it a concern about the ball joint?
