Hey guys,

Cars currently in a build process and just installed a magnus street intake manifold with the s90 throttle body, but the stock idle air/tps bracket underneath doesn't line up.
Was wondering if anyone has had the same problem and a fix for it? Motor is the 7bolt evolution 1.
Contacted magnus but they take a bit to reply sometimes. Pics of the build so far should be up this weekend.
I've got pics of the throttle body but can't work out how to upload them from my phone so will do that to tonight.

Bryce, Ive got a Magnus intake manifold and an S90 throttle body, but I havent installed the S90 yet
Currently Ive got one of the stupid KU Engineering throttle bodies on that I hate with a passion!! So I'll be putting the S90 on soon myself.
I am going to use a block off plate for the bottom of the S90 throttle body due to running a separate Haltech idle control unit = dont need the stock idle stepper unit.
I'll go and dummy fit a spare EVO idle control stepper motor to the bottom of the S90 TB to see if this one lines up.
In the meantime see if your S90 TB has the same configuraton as mine? - see image below.
Be back soon, having dinner...

Ok, it lines up perfectly. You cant see it in the pic that well, but the idle stepper bolt holes definitely line up with the S90 holes :)
Even the OEM rubber seal fits perfectly under the S90 throttle body.
Compare your items to pics Ive attached.
Either you have a non EVO S90 throttle body, or you have a non EVO idle stepper motor.
Hope thats the info you're looking for?
PS: Dont pay attention where this one has been grinded back on the housing. I modified it so the stepper motor can be flipped and bolted around 180 degrees to fit my previous setup.

Or... am I not understanding you correctly and you mean that the idle control unit wont fit onto the throttle body because it fouls on the magnus intake manifold?

Ok,

As usual rob, thanks heaps. I spent today googling at work and came to the conclusion I have no idea what part they sent me. Motors currently on the engine stand and about to go back in. I found pictures of what the throttle body should look like just before you sent those rob :)
As you can see, there is a big difference in mine. Doesn't even seem to match a 1G DSM. Now i'm currently emailing them to get it all sorted. Luckily I still have the invoice :)
