Okay, so it appears I only have 3 bolts bolting my TD05 to the manifold.
I figured I may as well get new ones, but I have no idea what bolts to get.
Will any old bolt do (obviously it needs to be the right size)? Or do I need to get special ones?

you can go to your local bolt shop ie boltmaster etc , explain to them the size , pitch or take in your original , and yes you can get specific bolts for exhaust

there is 3 bolts and one stud standard.
genuine arent that dear considering the quality, or if you feel high roller get some inkonels

are nickle plated steel bolts ok? bought those with a washer and lock washer as the ones i had before putting on a stainless dump were too long.

also whats the best way to remove a stud that become quite stubbornly rusted in

Don't snap em trying to get em out. Had to on mine and spent ages drilling and heli coiling them out just because some dumb arse didn't put any nickel or copper grease on them. No don't use nickel covered bolts they will be for building and construction.these bolts need to be at least a m8 minimum. Clean the threads out use nickel grease then torque them down properly once used once throw em away same as head bolts

There is other info here too: http://www.4gtuner.c...__1#entry220156

I came accross that while looking for the actual torque / tension specs for the bolts!
The 4g93 manuals do not show the turbo gear on there so obvioiusly no specs. I cant find my evo 1,2,3 manual / CD either!
Can anyone tell me the specs? They should be the same as the 63T as you bolt on the bloody same TD05 when you upgrade!
I have them torqued to 40NM ATM. while I wait for the answer off a guru who can remember off the top of their head  (or read it off a sheet :p )

Cheers
