Anyone in brisbane can recommend someone to do a manual gearbox rebuild in my HSGR? Any rough estimates of what these boxes are to reco? Im expecting a 1st and maybe a 3rd syncro and an input shaft by the feel. Im probably being a bit picky it still drives fine but definitely needs one in the near future.

I don't know about Brisbane, but I got my SSG box rebuilt by a mob in Newcastle. Replaced all the synchros, 1st to 2nd hub and sleeve and a full bearing and Seal kit put through it. All up including parts and labour set me back roughly $1800. Was never happy with the job though 1st and 3rd never felt 100%. I'd love to know of anyone that can build these boxes to withstand decent power like Shep does in the states.
