Hi All,

I'm thinking about doing the swap on the AMG Galant. It is a daily driver and I'm a bit over the twin plate clutch, mechanical diff and close ratio box.

I'm assuming the convertor, plate, box, computer and components that go with it like shifter cable, lever etc.

Keep in mind, it is a front wheel drive.

What cars are compatible?
Will the box hold 300 fw kw?
Can i modify?
Who wants to buy my old setup?
(Vr4 rs box, tre centre spool, kaaz 1.5 front diff, direct clutch twin plate setup)

Any info appreciated.

Rockabilly is your man.
Rvr gearbox, locked to fwd, toughened to special rockabilly specs.
Weak link is transfer case and they run 10s reliably and you won't have that problem.

But i would love to get inside the f4a 2wd gearbox and compare it to the rvr w4a.
The f4a can be got from the sonata with the g4cp version of the 4g63.

Galant GSR Auto..... should be cheap as hell from wreckers bro.... interesting... how much you looking for in the set up bro?

I can tell you what i paid.
Kazz: $1250
Tre spool: $400
Rs box: $1250
Twin plate setup: $1900

I'll give Aldo a call.
See if he can build an auto Galant gsr box.

Baz an RVR tcu would be good for auto/man switching, but that link I sent you is a good standalone push button.
Cheers !
