meek chip direction

hi, got my ecu socketed and my meek chip has arrived, can anyone tell me what direction it goes in to socket

Match the notch at the end of the socket with the notch on the chip.

It now sits unused in my shed as I socketed both of them cause I was bored.

And yes I do no what I'm doing I'm an electronics/avionics tech, interestingly I've never heard any one else remove the conformal coating and then reapply after soldering done yet either. just my 2cents worth after reading posts of people flaming out each other over the type of work done

All Meek socketing work is done by Mark Tackacs who was sub contracted to work for MMAL on ecu diagnostics and repair work for over 12years, he a genius and Chris Meek is lucky to have him on side doing the socketing for the workshop.
