Hi Folks,
Just did what most mid life's do and buy their hero cars that they could not afford when they where in their 20's.
I have recently picked up a nice looking VR4: (U might know the add it was sold from a previous member of the website).
1990 Galant VR4 j-spec automatic (my preference as I have done some nerve damage in my back and can not use my left foot well)
Yes they did come in auto, but not for the aussie market, only for the japanese market.
2.5" cat back exhaust, Cold air intake, K&N air filter, 17" White Alloy wheels, Blitz plumb back BOV, boost controller set to 12psi, Larger front mount cooler, SUNROOF. Full electrics, Interior is immac! Nardi sports steering wheel, also a big trans cooler is fitted near the frount mount. 4wd. 4ws, ABS.
I find myself walking past my windows and just gazing at the bloody thing.
I need some help the previous owner did a good lot of DIY to the car and unfortuneately the RTA does not approve of his work/fittings (usual story I am sure).
The engine bay just needs all the cables and piping securely fitted is there anyone out there that could help me with this? I also need to secure the transmission cooler cable ties dont count for the RTA.
I need this done asap to get the car a RWC can you point me in the right direction be it a forum topic or actual location of VR4 friendly mechs?
What has blown me away is the support for these types of cars and their mechanicals this is fantastic

Bald fat guy over 40 with bung leg - but qualifies for really cheap insurance! (I use to hate those guys when i was in my 20's - now Iam one of them.)
