mitsubishi evo 3 fiberglass side skirts install

hi all,

Quick question, I bought some second hand fiberglass evo 3 side skirts for my GSR on the weekend and i just wondering what you guys think is the best way to install them? A quick google search recommended everything from self tapping screws and pop rivets to double sided tape and skaflex. Im not to keen on drilling into my car and i want to be able to remove them. Whats the best way to install them or should i save up and buy some genuine items?

Sikaflex is best....self tapping screws are worst.
Once you sikaflex them on but, they arent easily removed.
You could just use a couple of speed clips at each end with a 10mm bolt but you still need to attatch it to the sills in some way.

if you have a gsr with skirts i would sikaflex the glass skirts to your gsr skirts

good idea. Ill give that a go.

I dont know if that will work...probably be an extremely tight fit...being fibreglass they dont have much stretch in them either.

had a go this afternoon and the fiberglass skirts don't fit properly onto GSR skirts... but thanks for the ideas
