Hi all

I have a momo race steering wheel in my 94 gsr. Recently had a wheel alignment done and its all good but I think they didnt set the steering wheel completely straight when they aligned it as its slightly pointing right of centre when I'm driving but doesnt feel heavy to any one side. I tried to adjust the steering wheel having never attempted before and pretty clueless. Firstly I set the wheels straight. Then I undid the 6 hex screws to remove the wheel from the coloumn, after that I found that theres this centre bolt which holds the adapter to the steering coloumn. How do I remove it as my socket wrench cant reach that far as the adapter gets in the way. Can you get extensions for socket wrenches?

Secondly once I loosen that centre bolt is it just a matter of adjusting the adapter, retightening the bolt then putting the steering wheel back on?

thanks in advance :?

I think from the description you need a longer socket, just grab a cheap shitty one from supercheap.

However, the steering wheel should ahve been set straight by the wheel alignment. Take it back and get the guys who did your wheel alignment to fix it.

forget trying to change the steering wheel it should have been done properly by the wheel aligner take it back should take them 5-10mins max

agreed, you'd be lucky to get it dead centre by adjusting the steering. just take it back.
