Morpowa Lancer 9.56@145MPH!

Hey all the morpowa lancer ran a 9.56@145mph WITH OUT NITROUS!!!! tonight up here in townsville. I belive the record Stood at 9.68 with nitrous.......Until tonight. Simon was ecstatic, it is now Australia's quickest radial tyred lancer . He attempted a run with the Nos turned on but the tune was off and it didn't like it at all, fueled up and ran like crap. My congratulations go to Simon, Andrew and James from Morpowa & the boys from North Coast Kustoms.

Cant really compare it to Rob Barac's car cos the morpowa runs methanal mix, has lexan windows etc..

I was there racing and we all saw it (200+) spectators and it rocked!!!!

His first up pass was a PB time of 9.7@145! until his 2nd pass.

Then that jet truck came out afterwards and burnt the shite out of that Lada :lol:

If i know Rob he will turn his car back to AWD and just reset the record again in a street car

I love Mitsubishi competition!!1 Hopefully they can push each other into the low 9s on radials!
