I had my daily blow a hole in the head in epic fashion 300km from my house at Willowbank on my way to the shootout night that was just out, but no shoot.

I picked up the parts I bought in Brissy and headed out to meet White Knight, who had also driven 300+km one way, for the shootout. I had 2 tool kits, a transfer case, a diff and some axles

as spares for anyone 4gers who might have broken something at the drags, so I didn't want to leave it on the side of the road in Ipswich.

So that's what happened to my Saturday.

Anyhoo, it gave me the motivation to drag my CE wagon from the other shed and set about getting it on the road. It's a bit sad looking, but I can see potential, and I also see a spare 7 bolt engine,

a loom and an ECU sitting in my shed as well, so this could be interesting :thumbsup:

I'll keep it as a daily till the RVR is up and running and perhaps after that I'll put myself through the pain of an engine swap.

Anyway, I just thought I'd share my story of woe and some pics.

is that a stock wagon front bumper? are the lights in the bumper a stock thing or after market?

it's a stock bumper bar. it's the same as cc lancer sedan and gsr except that the ce go the fog light recess in the main section.

Yeah, stock bumper with the recesses cut out and some Hella fogs put in.
