Mounting sr3 recaro

Guys iv'e just brought myself a second hand recaro and it didn't come
with rails, i need to know how to mount it ?
will i need recaro seat rails , will the standard gsr one's work.
I'm sure someone out there has had to do this before.

you need to get your hands on a set of recaro rails for an EVO 1-3/JDM GSR

Sre the proton gti ones the same as the evo rails? Might be another option?

satria ones will have the slide forward option though.

GSR rails dont work. You'll need any of the EVO 1-6 seat rails or the Proton Satria GTi/ Proton M21 coupe rails as they came with Recaros standard as well. Try 'pick n pay less' wreckers in Sydney, They have a couple of Proton M21's in there which may still have the rails in them?? Or if you have no luck what I did was put up a wanted thread on NZMMC and got a set for $50. The cost of freight from NZ to Australia was only $30. For $80 it saves a hell of a lot of hassle trying to concoct something else up :wink:
