Extra Info:had a engineer slightly machine out where the ball joints go to fit brand new ball joints (can only order complete arms from mitsubishi) these are great for increasing track (extra 14mm track) and they sit slightly further forward than gsr/evo 1 for better castor angle also.

Extra Info:removed from my car putting back to standard for sale, consist of XTR surge tank, custom lines made by pirtek in braided teflon lines (very expensive!), bosch 910 motorsport pump with alloy bracket. had surge tank mounted in boot of hatch with braided lines to alloy plate where it went through body. connected to good year rubber line (best to replace). used factory pump as lifter (flows crap loads when no pressure required), divert standard feed line to go to surge tank, then other side of feed line gets fed from the bosch pump. had this on a fwd setup that made 180kw at wheels, fuel flow meter never left 3lt flow rate even on full power! dyno guy recons it would be good for 400 to 450hp set easy.

Extra Info:Specifically designed for mitsubishi vortex meter, has moutning plate for normal mitsi oval style maf sensors, these things are ment to be made with the cotton weave straight so it doesnt swirl the air and mess with the maf sensor, cost about 160 new. could do with a clean but otherwise good.

Whats involved with the alternator relocation?? obviously it sits where the A/C usually sits and the wiring needs to be extended

I know that, but what else, i some kits will need the engine mount bracket to be shaved so the belt will clear, also need to know what belt is gonna suit, how its mounted etc

alt re-locator kit on hold.

sorry guys i dont know to much about it, i never got to fit it myself. it came from bazeng, so i dare say its a vr4 style mount.

I was making one up myself and notice that the engine mount part was in the way and would have to be ground down

Would prob just have to measure the belt length once it was fitted

not sure what you guys mean when you say engine mount is in the way? which engine mount is in the way?
you usually remove the ac compressor, and use this bracket to mount the alt in its place? belt would be slightly diff size due to pullie change but other than that just wiring should be all.

the Alt relo kit is now sold anyway. but i would have presumes it would have been ran off of the balancer where the ac belt comes off? there for no need to cut or shave the engine mount section, have never seen them done like that before. can see why you could run it off the ac bit and most likely even the ac idle bearing?

Gday did you replace the balljoints in your control arms? did they have circlips?

yes mate, under the rubbers they have a circlip, and then they press out. but we couldnt find direct replacements, it had to be machined out to take new ones, but it was very little that had to come out.
