Just realized there was a section for introductions!(LOL) Well, as some of you already know, I'm from the Bahamas and have been hanging around here for the past few weeks. I'm 29 years old, been married for almost 5 years (been with my wife going on 14 years now) and have a 9 month old daughter Emily. I figured since I've already started a thread showcasing my car, I'd post a few other pics! :)

ROFL! Yeah, it is really beautiful here. Like every place though it has it's good with the bad, but I really enjoy it here :)

Hey mate out of curiosity, what do you do for work over there? How long have you been living there for?

Cheers
Jase

Hey Jase! I'm actually a Bahamaian! Born here and lived here my whole life :D For work, I am a general manager of a company called Audio Concepts. We are authorized dealers for Directed Electronics in the Bahamas www.directed.com and deal mostly with audio and security (mostly in cars, but also do homes, boats, golf carts...You name it)! Our main contract is supplying a lot of the car dealers with alarms and players in their brand new cars. They will order certain models of cars without any players from the factory, basically stripped down of even leather, running boards on Jeeps for eg, etc and we supply them all and install these items for the car companies. On an average, on a 21 mile long by 7 mile wide island where I live with a population of about 200,000 people, we do about 150-200 cars per month just for the car dealers alone. When we have spare time, we do custom stereo installs (which you will see soon in my Evo  ) by appointments only as well as other work. I'm the installation manager/head installer as well so I have a few guys under me learning pretty well so hopefully soon, I can get more into doing more custom installs and let them go out on their own to the car dealers. So that's basically what I do in a nut shell :)

Thanks man! I hope to get some free time real soon to get it done, but work has just been crazy! I have all of the equipment being used on the car alreaddy installed in the car (besides the new Orion component sets that should be released soon) to see if I liked how everything sounds and I'm happy with it. Very clean. I will post a few pics in a bit of some of the other evo's running around here. Give me a few :)

Here are a few shots I got one weekend at the tracks. Next event I'll try and get out and post some of the others. Quite a few Evo's running around here :)

Have you guys ever heard of the hotel Atlantis here?? The place is insane!!! Here are a few pics to give you a taste of what it's like...All of this in a hotel and more...

Atlantis has 3 phases connected to it now. These pics are of just phase 2!

I also have tons of fish shots of the many tanks they have! Restaurants surrounded by sharks, manta rays etc!

And a little bit of the "island life". Here's a guy making conch salad in a place called Arawak Cay. The second is a pic of some of the restaurants there and the last is their little police station (not the prison) Our prison is ranked top 5 worse in the world supposedly at one point!

Keep these photos coming as they're so interesting (love the slide by the way) .... but at the same time you're making us soooo envious it depressing to think about (lol) .....

LOL! That slide runs through this shark tank! As you go through the tunnel, sharks are all around you!

And something for the kids...It's about 2ft deep at it's deepest point. Can't wait to take my little girl there!

That looks beautiful!!

What island is that?

I was goig to hit florida this summer, but had visa issues- man i'd love to rock the bahamas!!!!

*oh I wanna you down to Cocomo
we'll get there fast and then we'll take it slow*

LOL!!! Visa's suck!! :p I live in the capital (Nassau, New Providence). Florida is actually only 35 mins from here by jet! There are 700 islands in the Bahamas, but only about 49 populated. Most of the other islands are more of like what you'd see on Gilligan's island(LOL). Real layed back, not much building's etc, but here is the most happeneing. Everything goes on here! :D
