hey guys as some of you know i had my car up on ebay unfortunatly i had no bidders but a guy did ring me and wants to swap a 99mdl r1 for my 91mdl vr4 i took him for a drive he loves the the way it goes the way it looks the only thing now is i need to prove that it is a aus spec and as the car is not regd i need to know how to prove it is there numbers that i can give him i am new at this sellin car thing so any help would be a blessing i am hopin to have the swap done before the weekiend if i could because the good riding whether is almost gone

can you go through vic roads and find out when and where the car was first registered? that should be convincing enough.

r1 is a motorbike, can't remember what MDL stands for though.
but yeah,
front and rear bumpers are larger on an a-spec,
lights next to number plate don't light up, unlike facelift jap ones. non-facelift rear tail lights look way different.
a-spec cooler is tiny
a-spec fuse box is in english, not japanese
there are other little differences too

and also the aus specs have a speedo of 220kph
the japs have 180
