K...Bare with me a bit here as a lot of this is all new to me
I pulled down my computer in my Evo to see if it was stock and from the outside it appears so. I was told if the computer had anything done to it, it would have a sticker on it. So here's my question...My car has quite a few upgrades on it (a few more to come), but I have no way of compensating for the increased air flow etc. I was thinking on getting a piggy back (Apexi) to bump up the fuel etc, but with that, wouldn't it basically be "hit and miss" for me seeing we don't have a dyno here that my car can go on to actually tune it? If so, what would be the best route for me to take with this car as far as computer work/tuning goes? I've heard about companies that will re-program your computer's (or provide a chip) going on the info you give them about all of your upgrades etc and that seems like a good route, but still un-sure...Anyone have any sort of ideas/feedback they can toss out? I'm not trying to go insanely fast with this car as it will never hit the tracks, I will probably not upgrade the turbo etc and the island is only 21x7 miles, but I'd like to have the car running properly/optimum for the few upgrades I've done and will do.
Thanks in advance for any help anyone can offer
