Hey guys, just curious (scared)

Is there new laws in for P plate drivers that restricts them from driving eight or more cylinders, turbo charged cars and cars with engine modifications.???? In victoria that is.....

from what i remember there was a list of banned cars in sydney.. which was done poorly..

last time i checked for melb it was based on power to weight ration which was something like 0.125.. anything above that is suppose to be "illegal".. an evo is above this figure and so are gsr's.. but that doesn't stop us :D

sweet, just the grape vine was saying that was applied 1 jan in VIC.

was getting a bit worried that i mite hav 2 sell up before i got 2 properly drive yeold gallant.

:)
thanks guys

Don't know about the power/weight limitations, but sort of on the subject of new laws in Vic. I know there is a new law which allows the cops to, on the spot, impound your car for a couple of days if any of your tyres break traction. You have to pay for the impound costs too. I don't like the whole idea, it's too open to interperetation and abuse.

The way i see it, as soon as u slapp an exhuast on
Ur car is not legal no matter if the car was a mini to a EVOIX

Its all the same
