new rear diff

Hi guys...sorry its probably been asked before, my rear diff in my gsr has a nasty wind and is about to throw in the towel ....just wondering where i will find a part number stamped on it that will tell me exactly what i require to replace it?....
I know there is a diff code post on the site but was just unsure where to find the number on my diff to cross reference

ok...spoke to Andrew at cvap today and its a standard open gsr 3.75 diff,can get a replacement for $350 or he can make me a lsd for $850...would i be better off spending the extra $500 on the lsd and would i notice much difference on the track?

you would be better off buying a new one for 900-1000 than a second hand one IMHO
