Hey guys,

Seeing I couldn't see a recent topic in this section, I thought it may be a cool idea to post up a bit about where you get things done on your vehicle! Kinda like free plugs for local businesses and educating locals on where is good to potentially use, or look to move to if you aren't having any luck with your current mechanics.

And if you know any places that 'help' with road worthy's...

I moved from NZ about 7 months ago after being mitsi mad (See Avatar), owning various Mitsi's in my time... first mitsi was a 92 CD5A GSR, then a 92 Mirage 4g63 powered built from a bare shell(As seen in avatar), 93 Mivec Lancer, 94 CD5A GSR, 96 TT Galant VR4, even a 88 1.6L mirage in there! Amongst other vehicles like a Hilux, 2 Hiaces, and a legacy and more.

I am now looking at purchasing an Evo 7 in the near future here in Melbourne, so interested in where people buy things from, get work done (Even though I do most of it myself), etc as I have no contacts here unlike home where 12 years in the automotive industry gives you lots!

Also, added bonus if you work for a Autobarn/Autopro/Supercheap/Repco/Bursons/AutoOne/Efi Specialist of some sort, you may call me regularly as I work here for an Automotive EFI Parts Wholesaler :)

So... TLDR:

Where do you use/go?

Roadworthy:
Modifications:
Servicing:
Buy parts from:

PS: How often do meets happen?

Roadworthy: Springy Motors
Modifications: Myself
Servicing: Myself
Buy parts from: Anywhere. If local - Repco / Bursons / Super cheap - whichever one has a sale.

Street meets happen about once a year here in Melbourne. Lol. Mitsubishi ones anyway. There are plenty of general meets but cops get to them rather quickly. The scene is dead.

hey bro, i think you'll find most people do the servicing and most mods them selves, and due to the fact rwc's have been cracked down on so its hard to get a 'quick' rwc so i generally just go local, where abouts in melbs are ya,
and buying stuff, i go bak to nz to get stuff, generally with the connections ya have there it still works out cheaper

I drove all the way from geelong to springy motors to get my tune etc done, It was a while back i think the bloke was danny? anyway he put alot of care into his work and did a great job.
