New to the forum - gearbox and diff builder

Hi everyone,

I'm new to the forum.

I own a gearbox workshop in Adelaide, SA. We specialise a lot in Evo drivetrain repairs and upgrades.

I'm here to learn and also happy to chip in on some technical details if I can help. Mainly here to gather and share info on GVR-4 and early Evos, as two of my brothers are currently building these.

Good to see a transmission shop getting into these transmissions.
Maybe keep an eye out soon as I'm going through all the spare car parts I've bought along the way in storage. I was going to get back into rebuilding these transmissions but life and health got in the way (please dont ask how much Ive spent over the years buying this stuff - too much lol). Drivetrain parts include Evo 3, Evo 1, GSR, RVR, cases, gearbox internals, new synchros, bearings, seals, lots of stuff. Cusco RS front mech LSD, 4 spider centre diff housing, Cusco tarmac centre diff housing and intenals, Evo viscous front LSDs, Evo III 1.74 ratio transfer case with matching crownwheel and pinon, Shep Racing transfer case with upgraded uni and driveshaft (from Rob Baracs yellow EVO 2 drag car / unbreakable - yep I've had for years in storage for my car in case I broke my driveline but never have lol). Unused Matthias 4th dog gear upgrade and shaft, brand new Comp Clutch twin plate clutch, billet AWD locking spline. This is just stuff off the top of my head as I know there's heaps I need to go through with my brother.
