NGK IRIDIUM IX plugs for VR4 engine running 1.3bar

Hey guys,

anyone know what the best type of NGK IRIDIUM IX plugs would be for a VR4 engine in a GSR running about 1.3bar or boost... the iridium ones i have now arent igniting... they are abit old, bought car with them about 4 months ago.

Solution: Use standard plugs. Iridium/Platinum are bullshit and only useful for N/A.

When I push hard atm the engine starts skipping as i rev up, make a brrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr noise really quickly and no power, I thought this was caused by the plugs not igniting, when I tried standard plugs the problem if anything got worse.

Do u think the problem may not be related to the plugs? if so wat do u reakon.

try ngk bpr6es i run 18 psi on them and i have never fowled em but i have a good tunner \\

do a comp test

if you dont have a comp tester or dont know how give me a yell and you can come round my joint and i will do one for you if you like

it is the best way to eliminate one very big thing the engine .

after its been tested then you can look at things like booste leaks and vac leaks

Replace your leads and spark plugs which are correctly gapped.

Iridiums are a waste of money. You can get 8x as many sets of BP6ES or BP7ES instead of getting 1 set of iridiums.
