Who's recently purchased a set of NGK spark plug leads for their EVO1-3? How much did you end up paying? My local Auto1 has told me $85 for a set but I could have sworn I saw somebody post on here that they picked them up for $70.

Hey, if the savings are there- what's the big problem!? Just means more money to spend on other things, like his mortgage!:thumbsup:

saving $15 might be worth it but you might have to drive further to get them...money wasted in fuel getting there and back... :)

more importantly (lots of) time wasted on searching for that bargain for a marginal savings. :fuuuuu::fuuuuu:

but try bursons and repco shayne. Often they have 'end of the line' sales and get rid of their stock for very cheap. Thats how I picked up alot of my Nolathane bushes for 1/2 price

You guessed it Dre. I've blown my car budget for the year by way more than I would have liked so every $ saved is worth trying for.

Does anyone have the part # for the leads to suit evo1-3?

ill answer my own question

Evo 2/3 specific part numbers:

Top Gun part#: TG 4697 (Typically $101 from Autobarn or $74 from Pistons auto in Bayswater :thumbsup::thumbsup:)

or

NGK part#: RC-ME86 (typically $123 from Bursons).

vr4 spark leads have different part numbers FYI.

Yeah VR4 leads are longer so they can reach the coil packs bolted to the side of the intake manifold. Evo leads are shorter as you'd all know why.

Fark! Makes the $85 from my Auto1 store sound "cheap"!

Glad I asked the question, the shoe could have been on the other foot and I'd be paying $40 more.

I know a guy that custom makes leads, would be a better option as they are better quality, less resistance and a similar low price last time I got some

yep :), and i got those spark plugs that you & the dyno tuner suggested baz. the car is running super smooth all the way upto 15psi!
