It only has a wheel base of 2720mm, and an EVO has a wheel base of 2510mm.

If it handles anything like what my RVR does (2520mm), then you guys would be surprised at how un-boat like this thing probably is.....

They have all the same running gear etc, 3.909 W5M33's

I want one!!! I recently bought an Auspec White UF Nimbus for the family runabout and if I could have gotten my hands on an AWD item from NZ I would have!!! I just rebuilt the 4G64 2.4 engine in the one I have and it runs like a dream (only thing its not AWD or turbo lol). How the hell did he get one into the country and rego'd? If I can do the same I'd sell mine at the drop of a hat and grab one as the RVR is only a 4 seater and the Nimbus (Chariot or Spacewagon as they are known overseas) can seat up to 7 :D

and the later model Chariots (in aus branded Nimbus and only fwd) came out AWD and with Evo7 motors in them I saw a chariot GT engine for sale at SSS auto just before christmas and was like whats that kate model evo motor took a closer look and it had all these weird pipes in different locations and IC pipe work over the top

Now that would be a sleeper and a half with a nice worked CT9A motor in it

There's a guy on NZMMC with an Airtrek Turbo R with GT35R- I reckon they are ace- pitty they didnt come out in 5spd though!

Are importers bringing AWD Chariots and Airteks in? because the market for 4 cyl family wagons like this is pretty popular. At the moment the pick of the bunch in Australia are the Nimbus and Honda Odyssey. The Nimbus is great value for money but the Honda is damn expensive but it looks nicer and thats about it lol. The others are pretty much vans with engines under the front seats Yuk! (Toyota Tarago for instance). We're getting RVR's so why not the AWD Chariots? lol

lmfao :D
you cant justify it, its pure ugg.

You can make anything look half decent if you did the right mods to it!

I'd love a Chariot!

RVR front bumper, grille, rear wing, maybe side skirts if they fit- one colour instead of 2-tone, tints, massive glare strip to help bring the roof line down, lowered, wheels, GT35R with screamer- would be like an EVO limo! :D:D

I could be rolling in an EVO X by the time my cyborg is up and running- but no thanks- i'd much rather have something that no one knows anything about, then a brand new EVO :)
