Hi Guys,

Well I've been looking on here for a while, so thought I'd join up and say Hi.

I've been playing around with Mitsu's for quite a while, and just sold my CM5A Powered Mirage last year so me and the Mrs could buy a house....

Now that that's done, I'm on the lookout for a new project.

The Mirage was my attempt at the show scene, and it didn't do too bad. Had it featured in a few magazines, won some trophies etc. The car is now in South Australia being driven every day by the new owner.

Here are a couple of pics of it in case you've never seen it.... (please don't hate me for the rice! lol)

And as it was sold....

Anyway, I'm now keen to get out to the track and have some fun with a new car...

I'm on the lookout for a new project, and will be staying with the Mitsu's after I've pretty much eliminated every other contender in my budget range.

I'm pretty much looking for a CC GSR, preferably with an E1,2,3 engine setup, and it will be getting all the other gear to make it useful at the track, and on the strip too.

It will also be my new daily, which has to be better than the POS Magna I'm driving with 393,000km on the dial..... haha

Ok, enough from me, looks like there is heaps of info on this site, and it should help me a bit along the way.

wooooooo!

Welcome mate

Could to see you are still sticking with the mitsy's GSR are great value for money IMO

Heaps are on the market so i am sure you will be able to pic one up at a fairly reasonable price

Best of luck

Keep us posted

Dave

Welcome buddy!! Your old mirage is an easily recognizable car thats for sure. I bet it went pretty well the CM5A conversion too...

I've seen this getting around Adelaide....The amount of rice on this thing is on a whole other level. Would have been interesting seeing the Inspectors go nuts on it. Good to see your putting go before show now. Good luck with your GSR search.

LOL WOW not 1 but 3 mod plates on it!:p
Oh how I love QLD!!!!

Welcome to T4G mate!:D

- 4G93T Conversion + EVO 4 RS Brakes

yeh don't know how the new owner got it passed so easily, but he didnt have any issues at all... lol

yeah thanks dude, I appreciate that not everyone liked the car, but it served its purpose well, it was a show car after all... but, i was thinking of ripping all the shit out of it and putting it on the track, just when the new owner came up with the cash... so buying a house was the goal and so the car had to go lol

Still looking for a decent GSR/EVOII, there doesnt seem to be much around at the moment, so if you know of any decent reliable setups going please let me know as im keen as shit to buy something asap.

Thanks for the welcome guys. Hopefully I'll have a new project soon...
