I haven't started or driven my car for probably three weeks, and have just tried jump starting my car with no luck. I get reds, can wind windows up and down but won't even get close to cranking. I was also messing around under the hood a couple of weeks back and had the doors open and interior light on which wouldn't have helped.
I have a feeling I may have killed it and am considering getting a trickle charger as the car just hardly ever gets driven these days.
Can anyone recommend one or should I just disconnect the battery when the car is sitting for a long period?

This is the bike one. Lighter than the tape measure. Its sitting on a piece of rolled up a4 paper without breaking it. Unreal.
You can get bigger ones for harleys and stuff that would fire up a car. I think it will have flame proof internals because its so light

Dougmo,

Which model, had a look at your link... very interested

Would you need to do something with the charging circuit because it is a Li Po (and I am using the car as a daily)?

I have the lfx36 and the charger. I bought them from the us about 10 months ago, fires
up the car easily, I haven't charged it yet lol

Just to double check, you have the LFX36A3-BS12 ($415) ? So to turn this into a daily I'm guessing I would need to install the charger somewhere and feed it 12 (or really 14) volts from the alternator ?

Hey guys, bringing this topic back up from the dead. My odyssey has finally killed itself and won't hold charge anymore. Looking at one of these lithium bike batteries but need something the same size with just as much cranking power as the PC680.
Car only get ms driven on weekends and I've just done clutch, Tyres, wheel bearings and insurance/region so not keen on spending $400 on a battery.
Was looking at this as a possible solution...

What do you guys think? (Jack I'm mostly talking to you and your wealth of knowledge) Do these take standard post type terminals?

You may be able to screw your odysey terminals onto it. I think they run m4? You should be able to change the nuts out to ones that fit your posts anyway. But i gave up and chopped the post clamps off my leads and now just bolt them on like a bike does.
Thats only 180cca so pretty damn small.
i will try to attach the catalogue for the sps i had in bike. It shows batteries up to 450cca (for harleys) they are under 2kg. You will need a new mount as none are pc680 sized. Or packing around a smaller one.

i also rem9ve 2 fuses under bonnet for alarm and central locking. That stops all the battery draw.
