Hey guys just seeing if anyone has done this and what offset they used. I've got a set of 225/45/17 inch Hoosier dots to go on my car but not 100% on offset to run. I got not probs modifying my existing trailing arms to suit so was thinking if I go the same offset I have now of +42 I will only loose 10mm inside and go 10mm towards the guard. Though if I did this would I foul on the from chassis at full lock when turning.

Current wheels on the car are 18x7.5 +42 with 215/35/18 tyres they fit pretty good with about 8 to 10 mm clearance on the trailing arm

New wheels will be 17x8 unsure of offset at this stage as suggested I'm thinking + 42 tyres will be 225/45/17 drag radials that measure around 225mm.

Any advice on this I'm not after heaps of poke past the guards but still need to be able to do full lock turns.

Cheers

I had 235 on mine 17x8 cant recall offset.
The space between rim and trailing arm was unsafe in my opinion and the tyres ended up getting chopped up by the guards.

yep, if not it will be super close. imo you wont fit 235s under standard guards with out rubbing, If you run a heap of castor it can help move the front wheel forward a bit which helps

Not worried bout it being under the guards as I'm going to raise the car again. Makes it easier to get it on the trailer lol. I just don't want them hanging out ridiculously. It's only for the drags just want it look street able still
