hey guys,

did a quick search but couldnt find anything to answer my question.

what offset are you guys running on your CC's mainly anyone running evo gaurds with 8" wide rim.

i dont understand how the offset works that much. but looking at my car yesterday with an +35 offset its going to stick out and im not sure how much camber i can get in the front with getting adjustable top hats.

until i convert the rear im not sure at them but i dont think they will be an issue at this point in time.

rims are off an evo 7

lower the offset number the further out it will stick the higher then closer to the inner wall itll be i use +38 on a 7" rim and its pretty flush id say +46ish on a 8?

accord to http://www.jdmconcept.com.au/wheel-offset-calculator

this is compared to a 17x7 with a 40 offset

with a 17x8 with a 35 offset it has,

New wheel has 8mm less clearance between the inner flange and suspension compared to the current wheel
New wheel has moved 18mm closer towards the fender compared to the current wheel

if I was to shave 5mm off the back of the rim for example to make a 30 offset

it would be

New wheel has 3mm less clearance between the inner flange and suspension compared to the current wheel
New wheel has moved 23mm closer towards the fender compared to the current wheel

until I get the rubber on the rims I wont ready know how much I need to do

8 +35 is only about 2-3mm away from the trailing arm in the rear, its quite close, so 5mm off will be hard on the arm
and wont work

will be close to ok on the front

Don't have the rear trailing arm issue. Solid diff with leafs. Win win haha. I think I'll have to measure it up once it's back in the air.

Otherwise I'll look at more camber if I can
