i got one form super cheap befreo the seal was good, but the bracket that held the cap down was shit house... when i fried the motor the oil cap bracket also bentto a 45* angle on both side and spewed oil out

my ralliart one is very stiff in the bracket and the seal, its quite hard to turn it on properly.

seals perfectly...also has a predrilled hole for lock wire.

i have a ralliart one too, seals awesome, hard to get on and off sometimes, needs to be man handled! has a good locking feel when it clicks shut... and it wont come off unless u have clean hands lol

whats wrong with the stock one rob? i wouldnt buy a ralliart cap, mine came with my car.

yeah i need a new oil filler cap too.

I have the same problem with mine, oil spitting out over the leads etc.

Yeah most of the pics I've seen you boys using is like this one below for $30aU delivered on EBay. So I just just bought a nice shiny silver one. I remember these things were a lot more expensive not even 12 months ago ($80+)

Another good style is this one, also about $30 delivered. These look like a better quality and the anodised colour of the red and blue is much richer than those in the above pic:

oem with new rubber seal (new rubber seals come with the rocker cover gasket set.

I use the stocker and just replace the seal in it every year or two when it starts leaking.

thats what i used to do. nice and cheap that way.
no point buying a whole new cap when just the seal needs replacing :).. unless you want bling

I want bling to go with all the rest of the polished goodies under the bonnet  ... looking at getting a polished spark plug cover too now :)
