Oil filter/cooler dramas

Has anyone on here experienced any dramas with their oil filter/cooler coming loose under boost? It's happened to me a few times now and is bloody annoying/costing me a shit load in new oil. Nigel and I took off the old oil filter, tightened up the bolt and put on a new oil filter, ran fine for a little bit then came loose again. Has anyone experienced this or heard of anyone that has or knows how to fix this problem??

Engine is an RVR 4G63T if this helps...

never happened to me...but....remove all components. CLEAN...inspect for thread damage and refit with a non-permanent lock tight.

Whats the thread condition like on the oil filter bracket... could be threaded around a particular spot?
Also the mounting surface of the oil filter bracket could be warped or not machined dead flat?

Not entirely sure, doesn't feel threaded when tightening, will try lock tight tomorrow after work... I don't think it's warped, seems pretty flat...

Is this the water/oil cooling type housing?

You torquing it up to spec?
You could also try making an oil filter bracket/clamp of some sort.

I believe it is, and I'm not sure what spec is, did it up firm, not too tight.
