Okay after being a poor buthead i mixed oils for a week and have since completed a oil service.

Oil lifters started playing up as soon as i mixed oils. Since replacing the oil it still persisted. I bought some oil lifter treatment and its done a little bit but still noisy as hell

How hard is it to do the lifters and wheres the best place to buy it

If your going to go to the trouble of doing it...wouldnt you rather do it once and do it properly?
The smart option would be to upgrade to the lifters with the bigger hole considering you have already had issues with the standard ones...
My 2 cents worth.

I've just kept the standard EVO ones (small hole). They tick for a little while on start-up but that goes away after a few minutes.

Pro Ma MBL8 is the answer IF you don't want the hassle of changing the lifters. :)

^ I would class that as a Temporary solution..not really fixing/solving the problem..more just masking it?
Yes IF you only use it once BUT there are some very good reasons to use it every oil change.
Sceptical???, think it's snake oil ????, then read the Qld TAFE engineers dyno test reports on the Pro Ma site.
